Reference point: a machine around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K + RTX 4070 Ti + 16/64 GB RAM is well above recommended and should run the game at high settings comfortably — the real test is not solo questing FPS but crowded scenes.

The settings philosophy: optimize for the crowd, not the empty field

In an MMO, hitting 150 FPS alone on a quest tells you nothing. What matters is holding a stable frame rate in cities, dungeon entrances and Abyss fights when dozens of players with wings and effects fill the screen. Target a steady 60–90 FPS in the busiest scenario, not peak FPS in an empty zone.

Priority settings to lower first (biggest visual‑load → FPS wins)

These are the usual UE5/MMO levers; exact slider names vary by client language:

  1. Player/character display count & effect density — cap how many other players and their skill effects render. Biggest gain in large PvP; keep nameplates up even if you lower models.
  2. Shadows — drop from Epic/High to Medium for a large gain with little combat downside.
  3. Volumetric fog / clouds, global illumination/reflections (Lumen‑class) and post‑processing — expensive in aerial scenes with wide draw distances; turn down first.
  4. View/draw distance and effect (skill) quality — important for a vertical, flight‑heavy game, but High→Medium is usually a fair trade in mass PvP.
  5. Texture quality — keep as high as your VRAM allows (4 GB cards must lower it; 8 GB is comfortable), not your frame budget.
  6. Motion blur / depth of field / film grain — off; they hurt readability in PvP regardless of FPS.
  7. Vertical sync / frame cap — cap to your monitor (e.g. 60/90/120) for steadier frametimes and less coil whine/heat.
